Sorry, the screen is completely dark right after turning on, so I ordered a new GPU that should arrive tomorrow. I plan to replace it and test it out. For the Windows setup, I used the MS USB creation tool for Windows 11, which means a clean installation of everything. I’ll post an update tomorrow once the GPU is in hand.
It seems the problem might be related to the age of the GPU. I’m not entirely sure, but I went through several models without success. Eventually, I tried a newer one and it worked fine. Once I updated the drivers and ensured everything was current, the 1080ti started up properly. Still, it wouldn’t load correctly on Windows. I’m quite frustrated because I had high hopes for keeping it in the system.
unless every 1080 Ti’s are out of commission it doesn’t make sense… they’re PCIe 3.0 and should work without issues.
Everyone had supporters that worked, lights came on, but I still can’t understand why none of them functioned. I attempted various fixes, but nothing helped.
