Based on what I understand, a single board can only support up to two DDR5 modules. Remove two from the CPU slot at 2 and 4 inches, then attempt to boot.

Slots 2 and 4 are for the RAM, not 1 and 3. However, if it ends up booting, it likely means it's active, but it won't show properly. You have a KF CPU with an F setting, which means no integrated graphics—so you can't see anything without a GPU. I’d try the GPU in a stable system or another working GPU here. It seems like the GPU might be faulty. If this was a recent purchase and it was a used card, that would be even more concerning.

Is the USB device set up with FAT32 formatting? Any different format might cause recognition issues. The .ROM file has been renamed successfully. Make sure you're connecting it to the appropriate USB port on the back. It's indicating a problem during the boot process. No SSD or OS boot drive was found. You must have Windows or another operating system installed on the WD SN805X to enable booting. If not, create an installation media and install the desired OS.

Only two RAM sticks are available, each 8GB, totaling 16GB.

I used a known good SSD with Windows 11, but the boot LED stayed off and I didn’t see any video. It looks like the GPU might be the issue. I’ll test it in my current operating system to confirm.

I knew about the F model and ended up buying a refurbished 1080ti on Amazon for that. Now I’m wondering if the GPU is actually causing the problems, and I’m thinking about switching to an arc GPU.

I was also thinking about it, so I’ll review my choices again. The 1080ti caught my attention because its founders edition look really appeals to me for this era. I don’t need a high-end GPU since the system will mostly handle homelab and server tasks.

Are you are able to see the MSi BIOS logo and get into the BIOS? If you can, then the GPU *may* be fine, but once it starts to load into Windows, the Graphics / Chipset / Audio / LAN drivers starts to kick in. Where did that install of Windows 11 come from? If it has drivers for a completely different system, it will cause some start-up issues.
