Hello everyone, after assembling my first PC I faced my first challenge. When I pressed the power button on the MoBo, the system didn’t start. The LED error light displayed 00. My setup includes: MoBo: Asus X670E, RAM: 32GB (2x16), Gskill Trident Z RAM, CPU: Ryzen 7950X, GPU: RTX 3090, PSU: Corsair HX1000. I’ve tried various fixes like changing the RAM, resetting CMOS, and flashing BIOS, but nothing worked.

It appears to be a CPU issue. Initially, I considered a BIOS update, but then checked the support page which states your CPU should work with any BIOS version. Try reseating the CPU, ensuring the cooler is correctly installed with proper pressure, and verify all power connectors labeled 5 are connected as per the guide on page 16. If possible, test the CPU in another system to confirm functionality.

Thanks for your response. I followed all the steps mentioned. My cooler is a NZXT Kraken Z73, and the manual advises removing the ILM before installation. However, a friend suggested it’s probably not correct, so I reinstalled it. Still facing the same problem—Qcode 00 appears. I also updated the BIOS to the latest version, but nothing changed. I’m unsure what else to try.
