Hey everyone, just wanted to share my overclocking experience. I’m trying out some adjustments and wondering if I’ve messed up the voltage settings. This is my first time doing it, so I’m a bit nervous about safety. Current specs: 10900k @ 5.1GHZ, 1.28V in BIOS, LLC 4 ring at 4.9GHZ max temp during Linpack (60), 32GB manual OC at 3700MHZ, 14-14-14-32 1T @1.5v, 6900XT core at 2790MHZ, memory at 2110MHZ. I’m using an Asus Maximus board. Any thoughts?

You can increase the CPU usage and ask about your cooling method.

Thanks! Your setup of 5.2GHZ at 1.344V seems solid, though the voltage is a bit high. It’s good to double-check if it’s safe for your Corsair H150i AIO.

At this setting it's quite high for everyday driving, though you can certainly increase the voltage a bit higher to around 1.35-1.38V (which is essentially my maximum allowed for regular use).

Up to 1.350V works well. Adjust individual cores at the same voltage—like: Core 1 5.3GHz, Core 2 5.3GHz, etc. For instance: Core 1 5.3GHz, Core 2 5.3GHz, Core 3 5.3GHz, and so on. I’d suggest trying: Core 1 5.3GHz, Core 2 5.3GHz, Core 3 5.3GHz, Core 4 5.3GHz, Core 5 5.3GHz, Core 6 5.3GHz, Core 7 5.1GHz, Core 8 5.1GHz, Core 9 5.0GHz, Core 10 5.0GHz.

Yes, adaptive mode adjusts performance based on conditions. It optimizes rather than overclocking every core individually.

Sure, give it a try. Check it out and see how it performs in your games. Most games rely heavily on the first four cores, while others may need more power—so prioritize those early cores for better speed.

I plan to work today after finishing my job. I often play demanding CPU games for stability, like Warzone and BF2042. Honestly, only Warzone has really improved with higher clock speeds. Plus, my FPS went up to 200 or more when I increased the memory settings.
