You're planning to overclock your 1700x today and have some questions. Since you're new, I'll explain the basics: do you set the voltage manually or use an offset? Also, should you enable load calibration and if so, at which level? Your motherboard is an Asus crosshair vi hero and you're using a Noctua nhd15 cooler, aiming for a voltage of 4.0.

Switch the voltage to manual mode and configure LLC to high for better control. This setup typically needs a 1.4v-1.425v input, which can be challenging to achieve. Begin at 1.35v with 3.8GHz and observe the results.

Alright I'll try it later today and see how it goes. I'm going to try and OC the ram as well since mine is rated at 3200mhz and Ryzne benefits from faster ram speeds. If I'm able to OC I'm going to run cinebench a few times then Aida64 for a few hours(4-6) then try and play some bf1 and hope I don't get any crashes.
