Initial impressions of Windows 11 fresh highlight improved performance and a modern interface.
Hello, here’s what I think after setting up my first Win 11 fresh install. Initially, the animations look a bit different which feels nice while using the system. The taskbar is now more modern and unique, which is a plus for me. The new start menu is a positive change, though I still need to organize everything but it looks okay. Rounded edges are appealing. So far everything seems fine. On the downside, I’ve noticed occasional slowdowns or freezes—like when clicking inside programs or opening folders. Sometimes it works instantly, other times it freezes for a second or two before resuming. It’s strange but seems normal. The right-click on the taskbar isn’t working now, maybe it was changed or disabled, though I can try enabling it again. (While writing this, I tried clicking the start button and it still functions, plus the Task Manager is available, so it probably isn’t a major issue.) Mostly the frustrating part is those random freezes when trying to click something, which happens intermittently and is really annoying. Could anyone share any tips or tools that improve the visual experience? I’ve heard some apps that might help enhance the look.
The clock isn't present on secondary displays. In fact, this is my main issue. Often I don't remember the upgrade because everything still functions as before.
