It's overwhelming with all the cores available. I don't believe you can accommodate higher voltages even with an H150i processor.

The underperforming cores sit around 4.1. I'm still at 70 degrees on the Gamers Nexus, using a 4.9 stable with water cooling.

It's hard to judge chips this way. Even if they share the same name, the silicon inside can vary. What works for one person might not work for another.

I always advise starting without a fixed goal or expectation. Each silicon chip has unique strengths, and overclocking helps push the limits of our processor. If it's failing because of an overclock, it becomes unreliable. A useful check is looking for WHEL events in the event viewer to detect hardware-level "correctable" errors, which suggest limited stability. The 10980XE is a powerful machine, and @Jurrunio has a point—it will likely consume a lot of power and generate significant heat during stress tests. To ease the strain, you can adjust an AVX offset, since that’s usually the toughest and hottest area after OC. When doing overclocking, consider factors like Stability Amperage, voltage limits, thermal management, BIOS settings, and overall system design to fine-tune performance.

It doesn't require maximum cores, meaning it isn't a full 4.6-core setup. I think it's likely just two 4.6-core CPUs. The GPU results aren't very informative since the CPUs aren't identical.

I see, silicon behaves differently, yet most discussions show stable overclock times around 4.8–5.2 GHz. My performance is significantly lower than that range.

And I have a potato 2500K that isn't stable at 4.5 GHz and 1.35 V. It happens.

No results found. I already have two stable overclocks running BIOS 4.4ghz on, using ASUS AI overclocking with a base of 4.1 and up to 4.9 cores.

Maybe you're pushing the CPU beyond its limits? Just because another person boosted the same model more doesn't guarantee the same result for you. Each batch and each motherboard behaves differently. Also, you're referencing a YouTuber known for their extensive knowledge.
