Hello! You're setting up your first PC with the 4000D Corsair Airflow case and GA-320M-HD2 motherboard. It's normal to feel a bit unsure about connecting the front panel to the motherboard. For mounting an SSD or HDD, check the manual for your specific model—usually it lists recommended drives and connection methods. As for guides, YouTube has plenty of tutorials on 4000D Airflow setup, including SSD installation and general PC building tips.

That is totally fine, just plug it in over the first three pins. The fourth pin is not always needed. This is how you hook it up: Or, look in the manual mb_manual_ga-a320m-s2h_e_1201.pdf (gigabyte.com)

The power cable from your CPU isn't fitting into your M.2 CPU socket.

Check if your setup uses a 4-pin connector. Switch to the alternative 4-pin if your power supply offers a dual configuration. For an 8-pin connection, verify it's the CPU pin rather than the GPU pin.

You're definitely using the PSU cable with labeled CPU and base connections. Splitting it into two 4-pin headers is correct. Connecting it to an 8-pin connector can be tricky—your fingers might get sore if you're not careful. Try gently aligning the pins or use a small tool if needed.

Separate the parts clearly. Focus on the bump at the top of the socket. Check if everything connects properly in the right sequence. Look at the side of the four pins to confirm they align correctly. (For example, sometimes a bump on one pin fits into another to form an eight-pin connector)

You're unsure about the wiring, but you're trying to avoid using 4 x 2 pins. For your Corsair 550x PSU, ensure the clip goes toward the top of the motherboard since you're moving the case. This setup should work with your newly built PC.
