Personal adjustment not made (stock 1800MHz x2). From my reading, you usually find 1900Mhz and occasionally 2000Mhz.

I don't believe the I/O controller differs much between the 5900X and 5950X, so neither seems to offer a clear edge. Are you looking for a specific type of infinity fabric? The 5000 series generally performs better at higher frequencies, around 2000 MHz, making 4000MHz RAM a common top suggestion unless someone is deeply interested in fine-tuning the details.

A few chips perform better around 3733 or 3800 rather than 4000. With a bit of manual adjustment, 4000 seems quite sensible. Updated May 20, 2022 by Fasauceome
