Infinite restart, standby mode, RX 7900 XT?
Now that my PC also received a Windows update and automatically restarted with the monitor in standby mode, it faces the same problems as before power loss—repeated infinite restarts until the screen powers up again. This is clearly worse than the situation where high temperatures above 40°C outside cause continuous restarts. Would appreciate some assistance to fix this.
Update, I have formatted the pc in question, fresh clean install of Windows 11 24H2 (this one looks really good this time) ... now I'll just play games whilst I see if the issues where only software related, or that I still need to find the hardware issue if any pop up again.
Luckily, my computer isn't restarting endlessly anymore (though the problem remains), but I fixed it last summer using a household fan aimed at my PC case open and set to low speed. It seems the restart issue was temperature-related. Please let me know if you found this thread resolved.
