The game is experiencing performance issues, stuttering and fluctuating frame rates. It drops from smooth 144 FPS to as low as 40, then spikes to 120 before dropping again. The problem seems to occur with G-sync displays. Adjusting V-sync settings improves the rate but exceeds your monitor's refresh limit. On a high-end Zotac 980 Ti card, the base clock is 1253 and boost is 1355, which is already near its limits.

It was quite unusual. Bio Shock Infinite was one of the most solid games I've ever played. Almost no graphical problems. You might want to reinstall drivers. If you're running Windows 10, it could have attempted to replace your drivers. Otherwise, I'm not sure. Check the game files. You shouldn't be facing any issues. I understand this wasn't very useful.
