In short, I bought many i7 6th and 7th generation CPUs and listed them on eBay at typical prices. I sold them gradually without any major discounts. Almost right away, several people offered to buy all of them. They weren’t demanding huge reductions, just a bit less than what I was asking per unit. They’re unlikely to resell for profit either. What am I missing here that they’re seeking?
Likely for hardware, they must back that which has reached the end of its lifespan; this makes inventory management simpler before supply disappears completely.
Approximately 30 units are in consideration. At this cost level, they might increase their earnings by about $10 per CPU, though eBay’s charges would likely erase any gains.
