Hello, your purchase of the Intel® Core™ i9-12900K was just two days ago. The CPUID HWMonitor software is showing 127.0 C, which is normal. The temperatures look fine.

Is the system operating under stress? Are you running the most recent Hwmonitor version? What kind of thermal paste are you employing—stock or aftermarket? Also, is your setup using a unified core booster in the BIOS? That feature tends to cause problems, especially with older models like your i9 9900k, which required water cooling. The original Arctic Freezer 13 wasn’t sufficient. Intel’s TDP was configured to boost only the first core to 5GHz, but the motherboard manufacturer often increased all cores to match, resulting in thermal throttling.

Core temp reading: 127°C. Likely a sensor error, not a real measurement.
