During startup, the red light near the CPU on the motherboard appears briefly when power is pressed. After a short time, it shifts to the DRAM indicator (orange) and remains for a few seconds before changing to VGA (white). Once the PC boots, this behavior seems typical. I understand you're concerned about the red light near the CPU. You mentioned seeing it disappear quickly, which aligns with what you read online about the BIOS not recognizing the CPU. It appears normal for the system to confirm the CPU after a brief delay. Regarding the DRAM light switching to VGA, you're right to notice that fans may briefly increase speed before returning to normal. This could be the GPU, CPU cooler, or case fans responding. It's a common occurrence in new builds and usually doesn't indicate a problem.

Consider those LEDs a visual indicator during setup. If the BIOS encounters a problem, the LEDs stay lit, signaling an issue. Once the BIOS correctly starts up, the LEDs turn off, confirming everything is working properly.
