Hey everyone! I really went through my search for a fix or a discussion about this problem, but nothing came up. I thought it’d be best to ask for advice here. To start with, it seems the laptop initially uses a limited RGB color range when turned on after being completely shut down. But once it wakes up, it returns to full RGB (or Ycbcr444) as expected. *Attachments included before and after sleeping.*

Here’s a quick rundown of what I have:

- **Device:** Dell XPS 15 7590 (i7-9th gen, 16GB RAM, GTX 1650)
- **Display:** 1080p non-HDR monitor via HDMI (using USB-C dongle/dock)
- **OS:** Windows 11 (also worked on Windows 10)
- **Updates:** Latest drivers and OS updates applied

I also use a screen through my dock, and yes, this does occur. It’s because the dock isn’t a dedicated GPU or integrated graphics, so it only detects the display via the dock, which means it acts as just a screen without GPU support from your laptop. This is normal. No fix exists, and I’ve experienced this too when using DisplayPort. The monitor would get stuck at 60Hz and 1080p, but once it worked with my GPU, it changed to 1440p and 165Hz with HDR enabled. This seems to be my case—maybe the situation is different for others.
