Hello,
I changed the CPU on my laptop and it's becoming too hot. I'm considering adding more heat pipes to the cooler to help with cooling. I came across some straight flat heat pipes online, but there isn't much space to fit them on the cooler. I'm wondering if it's possible to connect one heat pipe to another and then attach the other end to the heatsink. Would that work well? Thank you.

Sure, I can help with that. What specifically are you asking about not working?

The main issue is the packaging. How would you fit them into the laptop? The second point is you'd need a type of heatsink for the heatpipe. The third concern is that it would remain very inefficient without direct contact to IHS.
