Hi guys
I currently have
Gigabyte 880GA-UD3H
Phenom ii x4 955
Right now I have 6Gb of Super talent DDR 3 2000mhz 3x2Gb
I’m wondering if it’s possible to increase my RAM speed to 1866mhz and see if that makes a noticeable difference while gaming.
Check the product page here: http://www.gigabyte.co.nz/products/produ...id=3425#sp
I’m also not sure what frequency my RAM is currently running at, but I’d like to know if I can use triple channel mode.
I can only use DDR3_3 and DDR3_4 sockets, but could I run triple channel at 1600mhz or 1333mhz?
CPU-Z shows:
- Frequency: 2008.8mhz
- DRAM: 803.5mhz
- FSB:
😀
RAM 1:4
That should help
Thanks in advance

Tell me your usual RAM speed on the sticks and the CPU model you're using.

Initially, could you tell me your typical RAM speed on the sticks and what CPU model you're using?
I have a Super talent DDR 3 2000mhz 3x2Gb, 6Gb configuration, and I'm running a Phenom ii x4 955BE.
The motherboard specifications indicate support for DDR3 1866(OC)/1333/1066 MHz memory modules (Note 2).
(Note 2) To achieve DDR3 1866MHz or faster, you need to install two memory modules and place them in the DDR3_3 and DDR3_4 sockets.
