Your current setup seems capable for the 7700X, but check your PSU capacity before upgrading.

The 750W PSU model isn't confirmed yet, but focus on the GPU specifications—new GPUs use standard connectors while CPUs still rely on traditional ones.

Ryzens 7000 adopts the usual CPU socket. Raising power from around 60 to about 100 watts fits easily on a 750W power supply. A 4090 GPU wouldn't be an issue either.

I own a 5900X with 32GB RAM and a 2070 Super. My setup uses a Be Quiet Straight Power 11 750W, and I haven’t faced any problems. As long as your existing power supply is solid, you shouldn’t need to upgrade to AM5.
