Increasing memory performance
Increasing memory performance
Theoretically, you just need to set up and turn on XMP. In real life, the performance of your CPU/Mobo setup can vary, so you might need to lower the clock speed to 3200 CL16—this usually happens only with older Ryzen models and has been mostly resolved now.
It depends on your needs. Old RAM can still work, but newer systems might benefit from updated components for better performance.
It should work out of the box, but if you hit a no-post issue just reset the CMOS and you can turn it back on.
Sure thing! I'll give it a shot and see what happens. Looking forward to your update!
