You just installed HWMonitor and saw TMP3 spike high. With a Ryzen 2700X at 4GHz and an i9 build in an NZXT H1 case, overclocking likely contributes to the heat. Since you're new, it's normal to be unsure about these temps. Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you certain TMPIN3 corresponds to the VRMs? It seems to be coming from a sensor that doesn't exist. If the device operates continuously at 118°C, it could melt, burn, or ignite.

You can verify TMPIN3's status by checking its current value directly in your system logs or monitoring interface. Since you haven’t seen any changes, review recent readings and compare them to expected levels.

Likely an incorrect interpretation. Adjust the bios. This should resolve the issue (provided the sensor is functional)
