Check if your PC is operating normally at its standard speed. It might be a specific problem with Overwatch 2. Consider testing with 3DMark to verify overall performance.

Thanks! I picked up a few new facts today. To be honest, I was mistaken about the RAM speed—I actually have DDR4 running at 3600MHz, not 4400.

I'll share that once my computer is done, it will restart.

It sounds more realistic now. A 12400F should handle DDR4-3600 at Gear 1, though you'll need to turn it on manually in the BIOS. For Intel chips after the 12th generation, anything above DDR4-3466 will run at Gear 2 by default—especially on B series boards like B660 or B760. I'm not entirely sure about Z690 or Z790, but it's worth verifying. If your RAM is in Gear 2, moving it to Gear 1 should improve FPS.

It looks like these popular titles really shine in comparison to my own setup. For games like BG3, my PC actually delivers about 30% higher FPS than those others.

Are performance data being recorded during each test run? Is the CPU operating at full capacity or are background processes causing delays? You mentioned you recently installed the game's machine, which might mean a fresh Windows setup with up-to-date drivers is running. This could account for faster performance in simpler titles but not necessarily in more demanding games. Try running tests on a different SSD or storage device, reinstall Windows on your system, and re-evaluate. If you outperform another machine, check installed programs and settings for potential optimizations.

A 4400 on an Intel Memory Controller works better than one on AMD. 1:1 scaling gives such fast speeds, but it's tough to achieve.

Which board do you own? What are your power management preferences? It's possible your CPU doesn't increase clock speeds much or only briefly, whereas Ryzen always boosts across all chipsets. Review power consumption and clock rates on both processors to verify.

I considered it and decided to restart my PC and reinstall Windows. I hope the process goes smoothly and things improve afterward.
