Increase memory speed for better performance
Hi, just wanted to clarify a few points before making changes. I’m currently using G-skill 3600 cl17, and I’m wondering if it’s safe to adjust the CL on my RAM. Also, does changing this affect my warranty? I’ve already overclocked the RAM to 3666, but I’ve noticed significant FPS drops—sometimes it goes from 140 to around 60 when using a 3070. I suspect this is related to the RAM, so I’m considering altering its latency. Would it be okay and improve performance? Thanks!
Show a clip of the Thaiphoon burner to pinpoint the RAM issue causing overclocking. Performance seems stuck; RAM access feels unnecessarily slow. CL isn't making much progress for speed gains. Suggest easing CL and twCL, shifting most voltage to TRFC. Focus on critical timings: TRFC at 0-10ns, TFAS, and similar high-priority settings. On Intel, TRCD matters too.
