The comparison shows similar power delivery numbers despite differences in core speeds and boost settings. The 2700X with 1.5v seems comparable to the 5950X in terms of wattage output, though exact figures are hard to recall. Manual OC tuning kept them close, and I haven't tested the 5950X recently. The numbers might differ by only a small margin.

Sure, just avoid turning on PBO and don’t try to overclock. The 5950x works best when compiled, which is why I purchased it.
