Memtest86 frequently shows odd cache and RAM performance. I wondered if this relates to CPU speed. (I’m aware from the images) Edited August 3, 2023 by leclod

Seems unlikely. Have you set your ram speed to 3600mhz in the bios? Also lower cache bandwidth as you do down to L3 cache is normal since there is physically more cache so more operations it has to work with

I got confused. Ignore the second arrow. My RAM is at 3466 (can't have it running at 3600 Gear 1). Most of the time the Byte/s speeds are odd, except L1 which stays at 300. Edited August 3, 2023 by leclod

The specifications seem unclear. Please clarify what you mean by L1, L2, L3 and RAM values.

This won't connect with your clock speed. However, if it does, attempt to oc it.

Received from Intel: C-States span from C0 to Cn. C0 means active mode. Other C-states (C1-Cn) denote idle sleep modes where the processor clock is off and components are powered down. Deeper C-states increase exit latency time and provide more power savings. Edit: it appears most C-states besides C0 correspond to deeper CPU sleep, not just general inactivity. What I looked for was actually Speedstep, P-states, and Turbo modes. Edited August 4, 2023 by leclod
