Hi
my mb is Asus B450m-a and I have a kingstone 8gb 2666 Mhz ram. In bios i found an option called Memory speed (i think so, i don't remember the exact phrase), i set 2993 and when restarted, in task manager, ram speed is shown 2933 mhz. is that called overclocking? does it hurt my pc?

Technically, yes, it's overclocking. As long as it remains stable, it shouldn't cause any damage. If your system becomes unstable more frequently, that's probably the reason. You might want to try adjusting the memory voltage or examining the memory timings closely.

Thank you a lot
I’m not sure how to set the voltage since I have no knowledge about it.
