Well, this change from the Ryzen 7 2700X to the 5700G has definitely thrown things off. Back then, I had nice temperatures during rendering, rarely exceeding 76°C in powerful machines, with a room temperature around 26°C. Now, the temps are soaring to 86-89°C in just seconds, and the fans are running wildly. I kept using the same 140W heatsink, applied fresh paste, installed a new high-pressure fan, and used the same case with the 120mm intake and exhaust fans. The situation has become quite challenging. I assumed a lower TDP CPU would generate less heat than a higher one, but now it seems the numbers don’t match up. Maybe the stated TDP values are incorrect?
