The issue is straightforward—it's not a real problem. Windows 8 analyzes your screen dimensions and resolution, then sets the DPI automatically. If you notice sharp details, slide the DPI back to 100%. After adjusting, press the Apply button and restart your device (or log out and back in) for the changes to take effect. To access the settings: right-click your desktop, choose "Display Settings," then click the "Make text bigger or smaller" link at the bottom to select 100% and restart.
