It all comes down to the firmware setup. Thermal tape is terrible for heat conduction. A fan works well. Memory chips often need the spreaders taken off for optimal temperatures. At least among overclockers...

Bro don't say that. I'm doing this after a thorough discussion with members... Also, how do I install a fan that blows air on the vrms? My case is corsair carbibe spec 01, which has almost no room above the Mobo... And ideas? I have a 120 mm fan lying

You could simply use a tiny fan nearby to assist. However, if you prefer these options, assemble a single unit featuring one high and low side MOSFET along with the thermal tape, and monitor the VRM temperatures.

there are fan ports at the top of the case. it might be useful to place one right above the vias.

These individuals strongly adhere to standard practices, whereas most premium boards arrive in a compromised state. Even so, it's advised to lower the VRM package area while the CPU heat sink extends horizontally or to install a water block. Simply attaching more heat sinks doesn't always improve cooling performance.

I personally discovered that double-sided Scotch tape performed excellently for my setup. It's smooth and lightweight, which is different from thermal pads.
