There may be an issue with the drive. Verify the CMOS battery voltage. Ensure you're running the most recent BIOS. Check if the latest AMD chipset drivers are installed (August 2023).

I haven't verified the CMOS battery voltage yet; I'll check soon. The motherboard is quite outdated, so after the BIOS updates it resolved my issues, which is why I stopped installing them afterward. The AMD GPU driver is fairly up-to-date, and I believe version 23.11.1 offers good stability overall.

Update: Because I was away from home and my PC wasn't really used (except for my mom who watches YouTube and some Microsoft Teams calls), I didn’t realize the bad drive is actually the OS drive—it’s the larger one. The dead space isn’t on that drive, nor is it Diablo4; it’s just RDR2. I’m not sure if this makes the problem worse, but it seems likely. Having the OS on a failing SSD might be the main issue, even if I run games from another SSD. I’m not sure.

Bios updates primarily introduce CPU enhancements, often accompanied by bug fixes and slight speed boosts. Keep the BIOS current. This discussion focuses on chipset drivers, which reside on the motherboard, offering a logical explanation.
