I searched for this problem but didn't get the results I hoped for. Your games kept getting interrupted or slowed down while playing on Windows 11. The system details show: Windows 11 Pro, version 24H2, built on OS build 26100.3624. It runs a Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000 with processor 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12450H, 24 GB RAM (23.7 GB free). It's a 64-bit x64 machine. No pen or touch input is supported for this display. This issue probably started after a recent Windows 11 update—let me know if you need help!

The app causing disruption is likely outdated or malfunctioning. Check the event viewer at the moment your game was minimized for hints about updates or reinstalls needed.

Do you rely on Discord? I encountered an issue in a game where the overlay changed due to a Discord update, which resolved itself by disabling it.

Interrupting the game and returning to the desktop without any warnings is a common approach. Make sure you update or reinstall the video driver. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, consider rolling back the recent update—use the Settings app, go to System > Recovery, and select Go Back. Windows updates can sometimes cause unexpected problems.

You can check Discord’s event viewer for details on available activities. Look for guides or tutorials that explain how to search events by category. There are many resources online to help you navigate it effectively.

Problems remain with the Discord overlay being turned off and no logs detected in the event viewer.
