I've been experiencing frequent Nvidia driver crashes after updating to the Benq XL2720Z monitor. Although I can stop my PC from freezing by pressing Ctrl+alt+delete, it becomes frustrating during important gameplay moments. Some suggest capping FPS at 60 to resolve the issue, but that feels like a significant drop in performance for a 144Hz display. Do you have any solutions or workarounds for this problem? *League of Legends
Use Display Driver Uninstaller to fully remove the driver and erase any remaining traces. After that, reinstall it using the newest version available. Note: Avoid overclocking and ensure temperatures stay below 90°C.
I also updated the drivers and the temperatures were around 40-45°C during play. I reinstalled the game but it keeps crashing or freezing. I returned to version 344.60 and reported the issue to Riot Games. This problem has persisted for about four years in some unfortunate users.
