I've encountered some issues with ENBs over the past few months. After making major updates, I realized the previous setup was incomplete and the other thread didn't provide enough clarity. The problem started after reinstalling the OS, but now using the Skyrim Launcher causes freezing and a need to close with Task Manager. With SKSE, it launches normally but crashes when TESV.exe begins. I'm running SKSE as an administrator and have set it to run with admin rights too.

My ENB installation steps were: 1) Install a fresh game, 2) Install SKSE, 3) Launch the game to copy configuration files, 4) Download ENB binaries (version 0.279), and move d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe to the Skyrim folder. 5) Install RealVision ENB via Nexus Mod Manager, setting INIs and using RV_installer.exe from the Data folder.

When I first ran SKSE with ENB enabled, it triggered an error about needing D3DX9_43.dll. I checked dll-files.com and had to choose between 32-bit or 64-bit versions. The 32-bit version caused the issue, while the 64-bit worked fine. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. A video illustrating the problem is attached.

Avoid downloading DLL files. I assure you this. To resolve the issue, install Direct X runtime. See this link: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windo...bf5?auth=1

Ensure Enboost 6.3 is installed and SKSE/Enboost memory settings are accurate. Incorrect values may cause crashes due to memory issues.

Starting Skyrim modding the first time can be a bit challenging. It may require several hours of work. Make sure to download the necessary tools: -LOOT and TES5Edit. These should assist you in getting started.

How many hours are we not the hopeful ones? We've been working for weeks and months. It never stops, it's just hard work.
