I bought a PC one year ago, but I didn't get a graphics card. Recently, I added one and now my screen freezes randomly in games while the pc stays on. The cpu is getting hot (around 80 degrees) but restarting it doesn't stop the heat or the freezing. This feels weird because usually restarting fixes things. Why can't I solve this? My setup is: an i9 processor with a rtx 3060, asus tuf oc v2.0 graphics card, a furry motherboard, a z490-h motherboard, an ssd that's black and 500gb, a power supply from seasonic coller nox h-312, and 16gb of memory.

Make sure you've got the right drivers on your graphics card. Besides just installing the new card, did you change anything else on your computer? Did you check that everything was properly stuck in place and connected after putting it in?

Sure, in my opinion, the computer looks good with the parts mounted and cables connected because someone who installs computers for business did it, so I think that's correct and all drivers are updated. I tried changing thermal paste and running benchmarks to check things out, but I'm still not sure what the actual problem is. Thanks for your reply!
