Hey there, back in the day I could play F1 2021 smoothly on my PC using older NVIDIA drivers. After updating to the latest ones, I started seeing heavy ghosting in the front antenna and a big drop in quality—this only happened with F1 2021. I reinstalled the game, changed settings in NVIDIA Control Panel, swapped out the DLSS file, and even checked an old forum thread, but nothing helped. I’m hoping someone can assist me now, maybe just reinstalling Windows would be the best option.

Check if both TAA and DLSS are turned off to eliminate the effect.

Turning it off only lowers the quality, I haven’t experienced this before. I’d prefer to return to using DLSS without any issues with ghosting.

Ghosting occurs often with visual effects that depend on time-based images or data. I recall Steve from Hardwareunboxed talking about it during several F1 game clips in his videos. You might want to experiment with different DLSS versions; perhaps one is free from ghosting for F1 21. Check out this link: https://github.com/beeradmoore/dlss-swapper

Ensure frame generation is turned off. Opt for KTAA over TAA, as this tends to be the problem with TAA.
