I updated my laptop a few days ago and added Apex Legends. I installed the Nvidia graphics driver, MSI Afterburner, and Riva tuner in video settings. When full screen is on, I see 12fps, but switching to window mode gives 40fps (the setting I adjusted with Riva tuner). Everything was smooth before the reset. Can anyone assist me with this problem? My laptop specs are: Asus Fx553VD, i7-7700HQ @2.8GHz, GTX 1050 Ti GDDR5 @4GB (128-bit), 8GB RAM.

Consider Windows might switch to the integrated graphics when using fullscreen. Start by opening Settings, then Display, and adjust the graphics settings to include an Apex profile that prioritizes the high-performance GPU.

It seems your monitor refresh rate doesn’t align with the game’s refresh rate when you switch to full screen. This issue is new for me and has already affected my gameplay. Adjusting resolution causes performance problems—GPU slows down at higher settings, and lower resolutions make it hard to see details.
