Build details include an AMD Ryzen 5600x, Zotac Rtx 3070, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM, a 3000W Corsair 3000D airflow cooler, and monitors that are either an LG ultrawide 1440p or a Dell 1200p. I’ve tested this setup before; initially the CPU overheated, so I replaced it with a Fuma 3 cooler and added more airflow. Monitoring via NZXT CAM showed temperatures stayed below 65°C for the CPU and under 75°C for the GPU. I also tried updating the GPU drivers but saw no improvement. The event log only logged critical event 41s, which seems to be a system restart. All components were unplugged, removed, and replaced in a new case—ruling out wiring issues. My thought is the problem lies between the GPU and PSU, as 3000+ series cards can experience power spikes. Calculators suggest around 450 watts usage on a 650W supply, which aligns with my experience. I still get audio through headphones but not on monitors. I have actually been having this issue with my watercooled RTX 3080. I had to edit the GPU Timeout Detection in Registry Editor and now it is working properly. Here is a link to the instructions I followed: https://manual.notch.one/0.9.23/en/docs/...detection/
I attempted this and after extensive testing it hasn't worked, but it now functions even in games where it didn't before.
Sorry, I'm really busy right now. I checked everything listed and didn't find any success. I was considering switching to dual 8-pin connectors, but I'm unsure if using just one side plugged in would work with an 8-pin to dual 8-pin connector. It seems cheaper to get another set from Evga rather than buying two cables from CableMod, especially since it would save time and effort.
