Hey everyone, I’m having a frustrating issue with my newly built gaming PC, and these are the relevant specs: Motherboard: ASUS X670E-A CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5090 Memory: Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5-6600 (2 x 32 GB) Power Supply: Corsair Hx1500i Initially, I was getting an orange light on my motherboard, indicating a RAM issue. I remembered that to support the new 9950x3d, you need to update the BIOS. So I updated the BIOS to the latest version through flashback (successful because it had flashing green lights then it went away), but there still wasn't anything displaying on my monitor, but the light on the motherboard did change to green (I think that means all is good?). The case fans and GPU RGB and all other RGB things are on, so probably not a power issue. I know that my displayport cable and connection to the monitor are likely fine, because right after the BIOS update, I briefly saw a black screen with a few white words saying something about the BIOS. But those words went away and I only see a black screen now, even though the motherboard shows a green light. I then tried performing a CMOS reset by pressing the onboard button on the motherboard, with no changes. I also verified all power connections and reseated my memory and clicked it into place. I also checked that my monitor works (it is 4k 240hz so would this be an issue?). I also tried plugging the displayport into the motherboard to use the integrated graphics, no success. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Any advice on further troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

Have you experimented with the iGPU and confirmed the display works?

Did you allow sufficient time for memory training while verifying your RAM installation?

I replaced the RAM and confirmed the click sound worked. The RGB lights also lit up, which suggests everything is functioning properly. Yes, I let it rest to help the system learn, and I remember the motherboard displayed orange briefly after the BIOS update before turning green.

I also attempted to connect the displayport to the motherboard to utilize the built-in graphics, but it didn't work.

You can revert or reinstall the BIOS. It looks like your device might be non-functional.

I found a fix by removing certain devices such as screens and keyboards.
