Improving your system's memory capacity.
You currently have two 8 GB RAM sticks in dual-channel configuration. Adding two more 8 GB sticks in dual-channel mode would result in a quad-channel setup, which can significantly boost performance. There are no drawbacks if you follow the recommended installation guidelines, and you wouldn’t need four new sticks to achieve maximum speed.
It wouldn't be a quad-channel setup since that needs a top-tier desktop (like Threadripper, Xeon or Intel Extreme) or server-grade processor. Instead, it would offer dual-rank performance, providing slight speed improvements. As long as the memory works well together, it should function properly. Best results come when using identical RAM—same type, frequency, etc.—to maximize compatibility.
Do you know how to check the RAM you currently have? The prebuilt model no longer lists it, so the parts details are missing.
Use tools such as CPU-Z and Speccy to view the RAM details. Alternatively, you can physically examine the computer; the RAM typically has a label providing that information.
CPU Z typically identifies the RAM and provides a model number. https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html Same applies to HWInfo https://www.hwinfo.com
It would probably lower your results. Three sticks typically operate in single-channel mode, which means you’d be moving backward in performance.
