Hey there, welcome to the world of PC building! I understand you're just starting out and have a few questions about upgrading your system. You're using an Asus Prime Z390M-Plus motherboard and have 16GB of memory, planning to add another 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz unit. You're curious if you need the same brand or if other brands with similar specs are fine. Your example of the HyperX HX432C16PB3K2 is a good one—it’s compatible with your setup. Just make sure the capacity and speed match what your motherboard supports. Buying from Amazon or other retailers usually works as long as the product details match your requirements. Good luck with your build!

As long as the timing matches, it should work, but verify they share identical speeds since your CPU's memory controller processes all sticks at the pace of the slowest one.
