There’s nothing left to install on your new chip. You could use this chance to possibly refresh your AMD chipset drivers. About the board update—why are you thinking about it? A 5600 works just fine on your current board, and even a 5800X3D will. A newer board won’t offer much beyond a few extra USB or connectivity options. The only real reason would be to move up to something like the 5950X, but I doubt you’re planning that. So it’s better to save for a more substantial upgrade, such as AM5.
