You can set up Ubuntu with command-line access. You can also add a desktop and enable remote desktop if desired. I have Kubuntu running on a 32 GB partition for my home work, while the remaining 256 GB stays on Windows.

I understand but I prefer popos a lot. The gnome makes everything easy to move and navigate, plus the keyboard shortcuts for handling desktops and windows feel really smooth.
