I’m just starting out with PC building and upgrades. I have an AMD 7 5700X and recently swapped it for a 7 5700XD. I’m unsure if everything works out of the box or if I need to update my BIOS, drivers, or anything else. Could someone guide me on what steps to take after installing the new CPU? Your help would be really appreciated!

You can refresh your bio by restarting your device. Some systems let you update directly from the boot menu, while others require a USB drive with your updated information. Check your device’s manual or settings for exact steps.

Receive the latest BIOS updates from the motherboard support site. Obtain the accompanying manual as well. Adhere to the update guidelines. If you cannot locate them, assistance is available but we require information about your specific motherboard model (including checking CPU-Z for BIOS version).
