Improving my Wifi coverage
Improving my Wifi coverage
I’m facing really poor WiFi signals in half my home. I was considering installing an Ethernet cable through the walls and adding a new access point. Do you have any recommendations? I’m looking for something affordable—around £30 to £50—and something straightforward to set up. Right now I’m using the standard UK Sky hub router, so it needs to work seamlessly without much adjustment. I checked this link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-WA80...A419153031
Others have mentioned using a spare router, which could work. Regarding the TP Link AP, I’ve used TP Link routers before and they performed well. Still, I don’t know the details of your Sky router. If you already have a dual-band router, it might make sense to consider one too. However, with VAT rules in the UK, prices can be high. If you believe a 300 Mbps AP is sufficient, just purchase it and try it out. You can always upgrade later if needed.
