I recently switched from a modem/router combo to the Netgear CM700 for my modem and the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 for my router. Connecting directly to the CM700 gives me around 18-22ms, while the R7000 delivers about 36-40ms. All tests were performed via Ethernet using meter.net/ping-test on the same server. I've tried adjusting QoS settings and toggling IPv6, but results remain similar. I'm unsure what else might help. Any suggestions?
