You can't simply increase cores or boost clock speed; you must evaluate real CPU performance. Running an AMD CPU often requires updating motherboards as well. To see which CPU your system can handle, refer to the computability list for your motherboard model. Remember, even if the computer feels faster, it won’t provide sufficient speed to run newer games without a complete replacement. Spending more than 40 or 50 on the system isn't justified unless you're willing to replace everything entirely.

as mentioned earlier, i won’t replace the motherboard within two years. my motherboard is an intel g31 with lga 775 socket, which supports all types of processors including pentium, dual core, core 2 duo, core 2 quad, core 2 extreme, and xeon. i’m looking for the best processor to fit my pc. in my country, all computer components are quite costly—even a nvidia gt 710 gpu costs around 100 us dollars. the currency used here is indian rupees.

Hello everyone. I added my question at the end of this thread since it relates to the same topic in my previous one.
Regarding the best operating system for gaming, I’ve noticed a Win 10 Lite version is faster for gamers. Have you heard about it? What are your thoughts on it?

There isn't an official "Win 10 Lite" release from Microsoft.

Sure, maybe someone adjusted a preset just for this. I'll share the link later. Thanks

I wouldn't handle it using a 39.5 foot pole.
Avoid sharing a link to it.
