I adjusted my 5600x PBO2.0 settings to the best I could, boosting my cinebench r23 score by 16% from 10502 to 12254. The gains came with an average core boost of 4.75ghz. My geekbench 5 also improved significantly—single core jumped from 1600 to 1694 and multi-core to 8546. The PC runs cooler thanks to upgraded fans, maintaining around 70°C during heavy tasks and just 27°C at idle. This improvement comes only from tuning the CPU power and thermal limits, so I’m curious about other ways to push performance further.

PBO tuning focuses on the CPU limits. The next step would be to overclock the RAM, but it's usually safer to cap it around 3800mhz without affecting your Fclock settings.

That's a valid thought. Weighing the benefits against the effort and risks is important. It depends on how much you value performance improvements versus stability.

Relies on your current RAM rates. It might actually be better to maintain the speed while adjusting the timing. This can boost your scores but probably won’t change real-life performance much.

Ram speed tuning would really help with a 5600x. It might be a bit of work, but it could pay off if done right. I lowered my Trident Z Neo 3600Mhz C16 to C14, but power cut while gaming stopped me from doing it again.
