I'll choose a fresh set, does Ripjaws perform better than the HyperX Predator?

the brand isn't important, what counts are the frequency, latency, and the ICs involved.

Frequency and latency match in both options. I’ll attempt to secure the Ripjaws because they’re more affordable.

Are you looking for comparisons of chips at 3200MHz with low latency?

Nvenc is the tool Nvidia uses. AMD's version is named VCE. You don't need to worry about that if you're targeting DDR4-3800 with low delays.

when frequencies and latencies match, they tend to look alike or even the same. but you won’t reach 3200 using your present setup.

I'll opt for the more affordable option. It's likely I'll purchase the updated kit along with the new CPU and motherboard.
