I might be mistaken but my GPU has never exceeded 60°C CPU 45°C and memory 77°C. In late-game simulations like Stellaris EU5, performance drops noticeably even with low usage and temperatures. Could I be overlooking factors or missing optimization tips? My setup includes an Radeon RX 9060 XT, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Corsair RM850X 850W power supply, G Skill Flare X5 32GB DDR5 6000, and a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD.

Check the GPU utilization and CPU usage per core to see how resources are being allocated.

That's typical for Stellaris. These titles become extremely slow because of the extensive simulation required over long play sessions. This behavior has been consistent since the game's launch.

It's possible it's constrained by the game's code, even if you're not using the highest settings.

Engine restrictions are common, typically capping at a single core. On x3D processors the games perform well and frequently avoid hitting core limits, instead encountering restrictions in the game code.

Did you verify every component? For instance, with two parts—one at full capacity and another at zero—Windows might display a lower percentage, which could lead to issues.
