Improve your computer performance and reliability.
Hi, I've been using my PC for about six to seven months with a modest setup that was given to me by friends. My system includes a Ryzen 3 1200, an NVIDIA 1050 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM (Vengeance 3000), and an A320M motherboard. Recently, I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 3800X, a Zotac 2060, and another 8 GB of RAM (still Vengeance 3000). I’m keeping the motherboard because I thought it could handle everything I’ve got. The upgrades haven’t arrived yet, so I can’t test them on my board. Since I’m new to PC building, I wanted to find out if this motherboard will support both my CPU and GPU at their best performance, or if there might be issues. I already checked the RAM and the MSI website says the board has dual-channel support up to 3200 MHz (OC), but I’m not sure if overclocking is possible here.
You might want to reduce the performance of your processor or consider upgrading your graphics card. Using the 2060 with the 3800XT could pose issues, but you could run smoothly now and save money for a better card later.
