Also noticed your recent posts. Power Supply Unit and graphics card should rank high on your upgrade plan. The CPU struggles to match the RTX3070, though it might hold for a while. PSU will be the first thing to consider. 550W is just enough to meet those specs.
The first PSU is used, but I have some ideas. I’m thinking a new CPU and RAM setup would be best. The RX 570 should still run for about six months, so I’ll stick with that. The GPU won’t be available soon, and the RTX 3070 is out of stock everywhere. I can get the CPU now, but should I go with the TUF B550 or X570 Gaming Plus? Or pick another model?
I own a Corsair TX750M. Excellent setup. Over 80 Gold points. People say they bought a 1000W model, but that’s only a minor upgrade (price shouldn’t deter if it fits your budget). Regarding the motherboard—do you really need a X570? Will you install two Gen.4 M.2 drives? If you want to take advantage of the X570 chipset, go for it. Also, if prices match between models, I’d pick the X570. Just keep in mind, many boards won’t support the new 5600X, so you’ll likely need a BIOS update. If the board supports flashback BIOS, that should be fine, but since only Asus and a few premium units offer it, you might want to check if you can upgrade the BIOS without buying a third-gen Ryzen CPU.
